A text book that teaches a surveyor the basics of trigonometry, geometery and other methods for measuring land using various surveying tools. The book has ten fold out plates showing geometic pronciples and topographical measurements and symbols. This leather covered book hinges are cracked but attached and firm. The fold out plate one is worn and creased improperly. There is browning on the pages but the text is clear and readable. There are no loose pages and the binding is tight. My hobby is Civil War reenacting and the impression I do is that of an engineer. I buy items on ebay and use the information I need and then put the item back on ebay for sale. I found this book to be helpful in learning the basics of surveying and would like to keep it but I need a wall tent more. If you have any questions please e-mail me.
