Description |
This precision instrument, made of brass, chemically coloured in a pleasant blackgray, built by the wellknown Italian instrumentmakers La Filotecnica. Milano is a much sought after collector's object, which doesnot appear too often in the catalogues of the great auctioneers. This specimen is in good condition and still could be used. There are fine crosslines and even the threads of the alidade-slits are still present. This instrument has a heigth of ca. 11 inches, the length of the telescope is about 8 inches, the objective diameter is ca. 1 inch. The diameter of the drum with the 360 degrees divisions is 3 l/4 inches and the heigth of the drum is 4 inches. For the vertical circlesector of 60 - 0 - 60 degrees division there is a clamp-and micrometerscrew, as well as for the horizontal movement of the instrument. This drumtheodolite is provided with two tubular bubbles, a beautiful compass with 360 degr. divisions and a smoothly moving needle with an efficient blocking device. Let the pictures tell you the rest - if there are any questions left, just send an e-mail ! And for those who take notice of the case - it is not the original one as far as I can judge. But it does its work quite satisfactorily. Lucky bidding !

where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for
the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when
