Description
Book American Surveying instruments 1871 Gurley. A rare early surveying book by W. & L. E. Gurley dated 1871, cardboard covers, several illustrations on various surveying equipment and their operation. 172 pages with hand written notes on note pages. 6 ¾” x 4 ½”.

I have been commissioned to offer exclusively on ebay a collection of steam, electrical, scientific, instrumentation and related technology items from a fifty year life long collection. These items have never been offered for sale and are fresh from the estate. The proceeds will directly benefit the library and educational programs of the Owls Head Transportation Museum, Owls Head Maine. Always looking for early rare odd and unusual technology related consignments. Buyer pays appropriate shipping packaging and insurance. Payment by money order or paypal. Over twenty years in antiques business representing quality and guarantee. Please e-mail any questions one might have so I end up with a happy customer and no problems arise. Payments must be received within 10 days of auction close except overseas transactions or I have the right to cancel auction and ebay notified. Returns with notification within 48 hours of receipt of item with intent to return item. All items returned as shipped insured post paid for refund less packing expenses and ebay fees not refundable. Buyer subject to Maine sales tax if item sold in Maine.
