Description
This large surveyor's compass is signed by the maker, Richard Patten, New York, and is in great original condition. It measures 16" overall with a 6 1/2" compass box, 5 7/8" needle, and 6 1/2" sight vanes. Both level vials are full and the original box shows an early repair but bears its pristine trade label. Cashier's checks or money orders are preferred and allow for quick shipment; personal/business checks require ten days to clear.
On Mar-20-01 at 07:33:12 PST, seller added the following information:

I would like to add that the needle lifter screw on this compass is a replacement.
