BUFF & BUFF CO CIRCA 1900 BRASS TRANSIT THIS SURVEYORS TRANSIT IS IN THE ORIGINAL BOX. MADE BY BUFF & BUFF MFG CO FROM JAMICA PLAIN & BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS. IT IS ALL BRASS EXCEPT THE WHEEL. I CANNOT FIND A MODEL NUMBER BUT IT IS MARKED PATN. NOV 13 1900 ON THE FACE. THERE IS A SPARE LEVEL AND AN OLD PLUMB BOB. ONE BUBBLE HAS A CRACKED GLASS. THE BOX APPEARS TO BE MAHOGANY AND COULD BE CLEANED. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance if desired. Please allow time for personal check to clear or send m.o. for quick shipping.
