1936 Keuffel & Esser Co Catalog of Drawing Materials, Surveying Instruments, Measuring Tapes Title page indicates this is the 38th Edition of the catalog. The original copyright is 1897. This volume includes a letter “To Our Patrons” dated February 1936. The catalog includes various paper, drawing instruments, pens, ink, pantographs, protractors, scales and rules, triangles and curves, print frames, drawing tables, draftsman’s stools, thumb tacks, brushes, lettering templates, the normograph, pencils, slide rules, Thacher’s Calculating Instrument, indicators, magnifiers and cases, surveying instruments, steel tapes, engineer’s Y levels, engineer’s transits, mountain and mining transits, repeating theodolite, architects’ dumpy level, contractors’ universal leveling instrument, including diagrams of component parts for dumpy levels and transits, tripods, plane tables, sextants, hand surveying instruments, mining compass and clinometer, pocket transits, hand transits, farm level, hand levels, surveying barometers, anemometers, current meter outfit, leveling rods, ranging poles, plumb bobs, spyglasses, magnifying glasses, steel tapes, woven tapes, band chains and much, much more. Inside the back cover is the “Price-List to General Catalogue 38th Edition.” The book is clean and in good condition, with no apparent tears. A couple of spots on the cover and some darkening of the pages from age are the only obvious flaws. A very interesting book. Please e-mail any questions or for additional pictures.
