 Manual fo instruments used in American Engineering and surveying manufactured by W.& L.E. Gurley Troy NY. 27th ed., 1888. Measures 4 1/2" x 6 5/8". 362 pages. Has info & images on surveyor's transits, attachments, compasses, plane tables, tripods, levels, sights, achromatic telescopes, drawing instruments, odometers, hand levels, telescopic sight, plumb bobs, cathetometer, clinometer, anemometers, hydrometers, drawing paper & inks, stencil plates, rules, pantographs, etc.. The covers have some light soiling, 2 diagonal cracks on the inside of the front cover, the front blank end paper & title page are chipped on the bottom corner, light staining & foxing on the edges of most pages & inside the covers. Otherwise complete & intact, very good condition.
