Berger & Sons were the successors to Buff & Berger. The catalog offers all kinds of surveying instruments; theodolites, levels, transits, etc., and includes instruments which can be used for astronomical and engineering purposes, as well as for surveying itself. Part I contains extensive descriptions of the use of the instruments, and both parts are well illustrated. The quality of the engraved plates showing instruments is exceptional!
