This book has been in my private collection for over twenty five years. It is a fantastic illustrated catalogue(actually a hardcover book),of drawing and painting materials,surveying instruments,measuring tapes.It is filled with over 500 pages of engraving type illustrations and descriptions of thousands of art related items. It was originally published in 1887 and this is the 37th edition with a letter to patrons dated Jan.1928.The cover has the Keuffle & Esser Co. name across the front in gold,logo and founded in 1867 embossed on cover.Slight foxing , there is some wear but the book is solid and very readable. A few of the pages have pencil "X"'s crossing out as if the product were no longer avaliable.The book measures 8&7/8" by 6&1/4".
