Please check my feedback rating under that screen name to ensure that I am an honest, dependable seller. 1st Edition Book entitled "Practical Surveying: which is demonstrated from its' First Principles, wherein everything that is Useful and Curious in That Art, is Fully Considered and Explained" by Robert Gibson, revised, corrected and adapted in the use of Schools, American Surveyors by John D. Craig, published by F. Lucas, Jun. and Joseph Cushing, Baltimore in 1818. Book contains mathematical tables in the back (Latitude and Departure; Logarithms from 1 to 10,000 and Artificial Sines, Tangents and Secants). Book is in fair condition, no dust jacket, book has 479 pages, no torn pages, but all pages are significantly age stained, but all pages are intact, no interior writing, front cover, back cover (back cover has been taped) and spine are intact and in fair condition. All in all, a very old rare book and would make a great addition to a collector's library. Winning bidder pays shipping and handling charges of $3.55 plus $1.10 for insurance. Winning bids accompanied by a personal check will be shipped once the check has cleared (usually about 10 days) - winning bids accompanied by a money order will be shipped immediately. Please complete all transactions within 10 days as prescribed by Ebay policy.
