The Elements of Land Surveying by A Crocker. Published by
Longman, Hurst, Rees, etc in 1818.
312 pages. (18cm by 10cm). Securely bound
with no looseness and nothing missing. Many diagrams, charts and copper
engravings. There are around 4 large 'fold out' engravings. These seem to be in
good condition although there are tears in 2 of them. These are not large tears
but mostly fairly small tears along the fold line. The first engraving is
particularly attractive, as it is hand coloured. There seems to be nothing
missing from any of the engravings. The pages of text are in good condition,
with few pages having any marks or blemishes.
The covers are of full
leather. There is some wear and scuffing but the covers are securely bound and
completely intact. The whole book is in good order for 1813.
This is an
expensive work. I have checked the large international websites used by
booksellers, and I have found an edition, from as late as 1841, selling for
$225. This book has the much earlier date of 1813. Look at my highly affordable
price for this collectable volume.
UK delivery £1.41. Worldwide surface
delivery about £2. I accept payment with PayPal.
