Theory Practice Surveying Book - Gibson
Presenting a volume entitled
"Theory and Practice of Surveying" by Robert Gibson (newly Arranged,
Improved, Enlarged by James Ryan), published by J & J Harper -- 82
Cliff St. New York (of Harper's Weekly fame?).
This book measures 9" X 5 1/2," and contains 100 pages plus 14 pull out
plates with diagrams. This item is in good condition overall. The back
cover looks more or less like the front. There is some weakness to the
hinge of the front board, owing to the 1" crack at top and bottom (see
photo 1), but not bad. This book has been examined closely and there no
missing or abused pages. All diagram plates are present as well. The only
damage to text body is the front text side endpaper, which is missing in a
clean tear at the gutter. Owner's name on page ends. You will be quite
satisfied with the condition of this 169 year old book. Search science
