This is a beautiful old style gurley
compass. It has the script logo original box and all original
accessories including plumb bob screwdriver and an odd wrench
that definitely goes with the instrument. This is a vernier
compass and all knobs and dials move freely. This is truly an
exceptional quality piece. As well I have the original Jacobs
staff and the original owners field book, maps and graduate
diploma.The mahogany box is in exceptional shape with all
labels intact. As well the ball socket and pin as well as the
site vanes are there and all original. The only apology is one
cracked vial .Good luck
