Great early Surveyor Transit.
Original paper tag on box lid reads, Established 1845, W.
& L.E. Gurley, Manufactures of Civil Engineers' and
Surveyors' Instruments, Troy, N.Y. U.S.A. The Scope measures
21" Long and is in very good condition with the exception of
cleaning. Lens and Level appear to be in good working order.
Stands 8" Tall. Instrument marked # 3572 and W. L.E. Gurley
and Troy NY. Original shipping instruction label tacked to
interior of box. Great wooden box with leather strap Also this
has original brass plumb and original wood handled flat head
screw driver. All questions welcome. Buyer pays shipping. This
is very heavy weighing 30 lbs with packaging. NO RESERVE.
