Description
Old GURLEY COMPASS WITH SCOPE AND LEVELER no TRIPOD. I don't no if it is all there, I have put a picture of everything that I am selling as one unit.Compass is about 1 ft. 3-1/2 inches long including the bracket.the dial is about 6 inches across, the 2 level bubble glass are in good condition, there is another small measure thing that moves ok on the compass. Made by Gurley. The other thing I will call the leverer has a different name on it ,made by FOLMER GRAFLEX CORP. ROCHESTER USA LOOks to be in good working condition, one of the leveler nuts is different from the rest, I don't no if it is supposed to be like that or not. I don't even know if it goes with it or not.but seems to do the job. It was not in the box with the rest of the compass things. There is some type of scope with it ,No name on it , It could be a home made thing. the bolt holes line up with the holes on the compass, I don't no if it goes with it or ,if someone put this outfit together by them selfs ,I do see the two lines in the scope that cross in the middle. The compass is very nice there are a lot of marks or some type of stains on the metal that I don't no if they will come out when cleaned or not. This whole outfit needs a good cleaning. The whole outside of the box is there, but it came apart The top is loose from the box and so is the bottom.I don't no what kind of supports are supposed ot be in the box but there are 2 that came loose, but still there. The box is made of wood and has come apart ,does have some paint or something spilled and dryed on it.I don't know anything about this item ,it was in a corner of the basement ,when we bought the house, and has been sitting there for 25 years.I don't know what it is worth, I will let you decide . No reserve bid on it.USA dollars money order or cashiers check only, thank you.

The seller should contact the winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller.
