W & LE Gurley Engineers Transit. Has box for transit and travel case. Transit is marked W & L. E. Gurley, Troy N. Y. I was once told this transit was sold in the early 1900's but do not know for sure. Transit has front hand focus and rear eyepiece fine hand adjust. Transit has vertical arc, vernier compass, and also fine adjustment devices. Telescope level vial has top mounted graduation bar. All level vials are intact and retain fluid. Transit is clear and optics appear to be intact. Recticles include vertical crosshair and stadia bars. Transit stands approx. 13" tall, telescope is approx. 10 1/2" long. Includes original wood legs to hold transit. Have included photos of transit, transit on legs, boxes, and label that is present within box. Boxs also include adjustment tools. Transit is in overall very good condition. Optics are good, cross hairs are present. Please email questions. I accept cashiers checks, money orders, and personal checks with 10 day hold to clear.
