WoW!!
**1828 Book On Surveying Instruments** Another Nice Item from The New Wireless Pioneers! This is a very early treatise on
the theory and practice of surveying. Written by Robert Gibson in 1828, it
served as a guide for the pioneering surveyors in the US.
Printed by J. and J. Harper of New York, there are numerous
Copper-Plate engravings depicting surveying instruments and methods of
laying out a plot of land. There's a total of 14 Folding Plates, although
most of Plate VI is torn away and missing.
There is considerable foxing throughout, although it has the original
worn leather binding. The first 15 pages are stained along the center
margin, see the title page.
