Description
This is a W. & L.E. Gurley survey instrument catalog, dated 1874, the 21st edition. The catalog has 234 pages, is 6 5/8" X 4 ½" in size. In addition to the catalog, an index and advertisement for RPI, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy is printed at the end. Except for a 3/4" X ½" piece of the binding cover missing, the book is complete and in excellent condition, certainly amazing in a 125 year old field reference book that likely did not see any use out in the field. A great reference book that shows many survey instruments of all kinds, plus detailed instructions and explanations of how to use and maintain all of them. Signed inside is "M.U. Mitchell Dec. 10th, 1874". Personal checks need to clear before shipping. I am registered with PayPal, which should clear quicker. New York buyers pay tax or supply tax exempt number.

Details for the seller and high bidder(s):
The seller should contact the winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller.

If the seller is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within 3 business days of the end of the auction, he/she may lose the place as winning bidder, and be at risk for receiving negative feedback and/or a Non-Paying Bidder warning, both of which can ultimately lead to suspension from eBay.
