Description |
A very rare and desirable W. & L.E. Gurley Surveyors Compass in its original dovetail mohogany box. All finishes are original and no attempt has made to clean any of them. The compass is made of brass and has a flat black finish coat that appears to have been baked on. Some of this black finish has been worn and chipped off in places. The glass covering the compass face is scratch and crack free. The face itself is in really great shape, perhaps, with just a small amount of tarnishing. The mohogany box is in good shape and should clean up well. It has a brass plate attached to the top which has the following stamped into it: "Gurley Engineering Instruments, Troy, N.Y., U.S.A." The compass will be packed really well for shipping and the winner will pay $20.00 shipping and insurance in the USA. Money order or PayPal payment only on this item. Please, payment must be in my hand within 10 days of the auction ending. Thank you so much for looking and GOOD LUCK!!

If you're the seller or the high bidder - now what?
Details for the seller and high bidder(s):
The seller should contact the
winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and
where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for
the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when
payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the
winning bidder and the seller.
If the seller is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within 3 business days of the end of the auction, he/she may lose the place as winning bidder, and be at risk for receiving negative feedback and/or a Non-Paying Bidder warning, both of which can ultimately lead to suspension from eBay.
