Description

W. & L. E. Gurley, Troy, New York, Vernier Transit

Circa 1890, this large Surveying Transit transit measures 14 inches high with a scope of 11 1/2 inches and a compass diameter of 5 3/4 inches.

Complete with it's wooden case which is in good shape, sunshade, lens cap & adjusting tool.

Transit is in good shape all levels are full and adjustments move freely. Gurley lable is inside the lid of the case with a Warren Knight lable affixed over it.

This is a weighty piece figure about $35.00 for Air Mail within North America.
