I have been asked some questions. the distance between the caps on the top at each end is 5-1/2" from center to center of the caps.also a new picture of a cap off and the eye piece cover as well. yes it focuses clearly. yes there are 3 cross hairs horz.and one vert.in the center. yes compass moves very freely. all movements are working. only one movement turns slightly stiffly, most likely from not being used in over 50-years it is the one that turns the compass its self a little oil should take of that. no i did not oil any thing. yes there is a cap on end of eye piece, it also has a little lever to open and close the eye piece.

Details for the seller and high bidder(s):
The seller should contact the winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller.
