Description

This is a first edition copy of "The Makers of Surveying Instruments in America Since 1700" by Charles E. Smart, 1962, 6.2" x 9.3". This book has 182 pages and many black and white photos of instruments and trade labels. The reprint of this book is almost as hard to find as this original first printing; mostly due to copyright problems with the family, it will probably never be reprinted again. This copy is in very good overall condition, it its original cloth binding. This is a great opportunity for someone to obtain a rare reference book. Please email with questions before bidding.
