A Treatise on Surveying, containing The Theory and Practice to which is prefixed a perspicuous system of Plane Trigonometry.The whole clearly demonstrated and illustrated by a large number of appropriate examples, particularly adapted to the use of schools. By John Gummere, A.M. Eighth edition improved. Published by Kimber & Sharpless, No. 8 S. Fourth Street, Philadelphia, 1833. Complete instructional on all aspects of surveying icluding a complete mathematical section and graphs. Very detailed and thorough book. Signed on first page by owner: Peter Shearar Feby 7th A.D. 1834. Fair wear and tear for a field book of this age. Has a sheet of paper with diagrams and notes from previous owner included. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. Checks held till clear.
