This compass was used in Bedford County for work on the Penna. Railroad and on farms in Bedford Co.Made by [Edmund Draper] Where, I don't know. It's in very good cond.. It was bought out of a private home. I was told it was used by Mr. Long in the mid 1860's-1900. It was carried by horseback at that time. It includes the original saddlebags, stake, chains, and markers. THIS IS A WONDERFUL PEICE OF HISTORY. Buyer will pay shipping and ins. $20.00.
