The title of this book is "Elements of Plane Trigonomety, Surveying, and Navigation." It was written by William Smyth, A.M., and published by Sanborn & Carter, of Portland, Maine, in 1855. This is a text book about plane trigonometry, surveying and Geodesic surveys, and Navigation, traverse sailing, etc. There are 272 pages of text, plus 81 pages of tables(logarithms of numbers, more tables.) The book is illustrated with drawings and diagrams. For its age this book is in very good condition. It is solid and clean, has some spine wear, a few light stains.
