Description
American Engineers and surveyors instruments, 30th edition. Hard cover catalogue of surveyor and engineer equipment. The third page states: A Manual of the Principal instruments used in American Engineering and Surveying Manufactured by W. & L. E. Gurley, Troy, NY January 1893. On page two of the catalog there is a full page graphic of their Manufactory on Fulton Street Troy, NY. The Catalogs dimensions are 6.75x4.5 inch. The Catalogues pages 378. The table of Contents-Index is 6 pages long and located in the last part of this historical reference and research text on this old line instrument makers full graphical and written list of available equipment and tools made by them at this time period. There are full page graphics and verbal text about each piece of equipement in their full line. A sampling of entries in the index are plummet lamps, pencils, pens, pedometer, philadelphia leving rod, plane tables, plumb bobs, pocket compasses and rules, prisms, protractors, rain guages, sextant, rod levels, rules and scales transits, tapes, microscopes transits - reconnoissance, vernier, builders surveyors, engineers, light moun! tain, solar, chains, needles, weights. It is a great text totally usuable and most interesting. It has been damp in the past with some water stainning effects of dampness on the front and back covers and very top part of some pages at the edge of the page. The text, the graphics, the binding and the cover are complete and totally usuable. I enjoy questions so please ask them before bidding. I prefer a money order or bank draft for US buyers with same day shipment, and Western Union for International buyers. The buyer pays shipping priority mail insured US buyers and global priority international buyers. Good luck and thank you for bidding.
