On Nov-07-00 at 03:31:47 PST, seller added the following information:

The serial number on this transit is 1395. Thanks to a fellow ebay'er who estimates the date of this transit of around 1890. Also there appears to be no knobs missing or bent. One sun shield is missing on one of the venier windows the other is present. There is no tri-pod with this transit.
