K & E Surveying Transit, case, THE BEST

This instrument is a collectors dream if he is looking to upgrade his collection. Absolutely pristine in every respect, right down to the nice box with a key and a full complement of tools and accessories., all in mint condition. Serial no. 195081, which I believe is from the 40s. I can find only one defect - the left side of the main plate has an area where the paint is scratched through into the brass. This is where the brace in the door of the box bears on the side of the plate when stored in the case. I hope the photos tell the story, but if not, e-mail me for more.

MY TERMS: If I have left anything out or if you have any questions, please email me before bidding, allowing sufficient time for a reply. I will answer you if I can. Buyer pays shipping costs, insurance and the cost of professional packing or crating if requested. It will ship by UPS with no problem.
