Description

VINTAGE Transit Level Circa 1890's?

Real Nice old Transit Level in working Condition.

Could be used today, or a great collector piece.

ALL BRASS Unit, black paint has worn off on all the corners showing the Brass.

Was bought at an antique Auction, sold as Circa 1890's, it may be 1900's.

Made by E. R. WATTS of London England. Serial #4538

They made some real nice survey Equipment, I have sold their items before.

Everything is there, all Controls appear to be smooth and functional.

I have used Survey equipment in my field of work.

I am always amazed how good this old equipment is.

Comes with Box, box is old and dry, but still does Job.

It needs a good clean, I cleaned a couple of places, came up real nice.

IF you don't wish to be sniped at the end use the BUY NOW Feature.

Notice the base in the above picture, the 3 points on the bottom, it can be used without a Tripod.

On the Bottom on the Degrees one side is marked "A" and the other side is marked "B"

I am not familiar with these settings.
