Description
This 1913, 566 page fully illustrated catalog has "B. L. Makepeace - 1913" on the spine and cover, but this title page only mentions "Keuffel & Esser". Makepeace is apparently a Boston Mass seller for K & E. A general rundown of the extensive contents includes: drawing papers, cross hatch papers in color (even has a couple tipped-in samples), all types of drawing instruments (ruling pens, bows, dividers, compasses, dotting instruments, beam compases, sets, etc.etc), folding rules, wooden triangles, curves (railroad etc.), T-squares, drafting room furniture: print frames, blueprint machines, all sorts of drafting tables, stools, desks, storage cabinets, pencils, leads, brushes, pencil sharpeners (Planetary, Jupiter), Reckoning adding machine calculator, slide rules, ivory ruler, planimeters, mechanical integrators, surveying instruments, transits, theodolites, architect levels, railroad transits, tripods, sundials, compasses, barometers, levels, many weather instruments, plumbobs, binoculars, telescopes, tapes and measures, etc.etc. The are a few full page color illustrations (trade card lithography quality of printing). There are also many other pages using color or colors. I would concider the condition to be excellent. This 6" x 9" book has orange cloth over cardboard covers and the spine is nice and tight. All pages are extremely clean with NO warping, staining mustiness etc. Wonderful reference with tons of interesting illustrations and descriptions. This is one of the earlier K & E ctalogs I've seen. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buyer agrees to pay $3.20 postage (More if outside U.S.) Though we've had only (3) mail claims to date, we advise insurance as we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged articles in the Postal Service. Details for the seller and high bidder(s):
The seller should contact the winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller.

If the seller is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within 3 business days of the end of the auction, he/she may lose the place as winning bidder, and be at risk for receiving negative feedback and/or a Non-Paying Bidder warning, both of which can ultimately lead to suspension from eBay.
