Description

This Vintage brass Survey transit was made by Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. It has a patent date of Sept 1903, and Jan. 1906 {9079. All bubbles are intact, and the compass is in working order. There are no cracks in the lens or glass over the compass, and the brass is in good condition. The dove tailed box is in what I would call fair condition, as I do not see any cracks, just the usual nicks, and scrapes. Both hinges in the back and the leather strap are still tightly attached.
