Manfactured by Eugene Dietzgen Co. Chicago-New York. This Old TRANSIT is made of ALL BRASS (bronze) it is in average used condition. there are 3 water bubble levels but one on the front is broken. The telescope has a bubble level below. The lenses seem to be clear. All the parts move freely. There is some green vertigre from age showing on a few places. The black painted parts show wear and you see the bronze showing though. The compass has a silver face. This TRANSIT is NOT AS BAD AS IT LOOKS in the pictures. There is no tripod. The original BOX for transport is included with all the paper lables still on it and a metal plaque on the front "DIETZGEN" with their trademark logo. It even has the original drop weight or whatever that is called. Thanks for looking. I do have a medium reserve on this item. Buyer pays shipping costs and insurance. THANKS for BIDDING.

Buyer Pays for super fast shipping VIA USPS or UPS.

Pay pal is accepted and shipping insurance is available.

THANKS FOR LOOKING and BIDDING. GOOD LUCK.

I was informed from an ebay buyer that this transit was manufactured in the 1920's. As I am not an expert on this subject, I am passing on this information. I hope this is correct.
