Description

"A HISTORY OF THE RECTANGULAR SURVEY SYSTEM, U.S. DEPT. OF THE INTERIOR, BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT.

Book is 9.5" x 11.75" x 2" thick.   It was written originally by Albert White, U.S. Cadastral Surveyor, who begin his surveying career with the General Land Office in 1946.   It covers land surveying back to the 1700's.   Although a publication date is not in evidence, it was authorized by James Watt.   A very comprehensive reference volume to add to your library.   The book is in excellent condition except for minor occasional minor dirty marks (noted for accuracy) and a sharp rub across the front cover, visible in the scan.   Oh yes, I also note the faint smell of cigarette smoke...did you know that burying a book in kitty litter helps remove the odor...try it!   Small corner rubs, but generally a volume in very fine condition.   That's about it!   Thanks for checking in!   Please allow $3.20 priority mail shipping.   PayPal OK!
