The compass itself is very nice and looks to be in fine condition. Hasn’t seen much use. The compass seems to have a lot of its original lacquer. The box and label are in really nice shape too, supporting the idea that this compass didn't see much use in the field.

Comes with compass cover, adapter, and plumb bob.

The adapter is not original in my opinion. The compass doesn’t sit perfectly. And the adapter shows a lot more use. But it works ok.

Vernier system, needle lifter and chain counter all seem to work OK.

6 inch needle and 15.25 inch main plate.

One level vial is missing glass. The other one is OK and full of liquid. The missing level vial can be added by a competent repaid guy. I can recommend a couple of guys if you are interested.

Compass weighs 8.4 pounds without cover an adapter.

This compass would make for a really nice display.
