Needle lifter works

Has aluminum guard over vertical circle.

The level vials contain liquid although they might be replacements. They have the guidelines and no green paper.

8 inch telescope and 4 inch needle

Serial number is 12726

Compass face is very nice

Perhaps just a hint of binding on the horizontal plates. It takes just a slight effort to turn the plates.

The solar latitude level is missing. You will see a broken stud inside where the level goes in the standard. Thus you would have to drill that out and find a new level. Finding a new level would be hard.

There is a bent thumb screw in the slow motion adjustment under the main plate. See pic below.

Everything else seems to work fine.

Missing cosmetic cylinder cover for the post of solar unit. Cover is only used when the solar attachment is not on the instrument so no big deal.
