Gurley Light Mountain Transit with a Solar Screen and a Gradienter. 8.5 inch telescope and 4 inch needle. The optics are good on the telescope, and the crosshairs and stadia wires are present.

Serial #16137. Reads to 20 seconds.

The solar screen is likely original to the transit as the box has a place built into the box for the screen. See pics below.

Noted Issues - See Pics: One broken vial, one vernier screen is cracked, and the slow motion apparatus on the horizontal limb is bent but still functional.


Everything else works ok but could use an oiling. No real binding but pretty tight.
