Everything works on this 15.5 inch Gurley Railroad Compass. The Compass has a 5 inch needle.

Everything looks to be original on this compass, except the south vane appears to be a later Gurley replacement.

Very nice condition

This compass has only one flaw. Somebody used an abrasive cleaner at some point on the compass. You will see some scratch marks on the compass if you look closely - near the window for the outer ring and on the underside of the compass. See pics below. The scratch marks are fairly noticeable if you do more than glance at the compass.
