I stand behind the value of the instruments I sell on my website. If you buy $5000 or more of instruments from my website, I will make the following commitment to you. As outlined below, if you or your heirs want to return the instrument or instruments to me at some point during the next 5 years, I will refund most of your purchase price. The instrument must be in the same condition as when I sold it to you. Assuming that's the case, you can return the instrument for any reason, including a downturn in the market. Here are the refund amounts:

If returned within 365 days of purchase, I will refund 90% of the purchase price. You pay all shipping and insurance costs. As stated above, I must received the instrument or instruments in the same condition as when sold.

If returned after 365 days but before 5 years from the date of purchase, I will refund 80% of the purchase price. You pay all shipping and insurance costs. As stated above, I must received the instrument or instruments in the same condition as when sold.

The above offer only applies when you pay me by check or some other fee-free (to me, at least) method of payment. The offer DOES NOT APPLY to any instruments purchase on EBay (the very high fees charged by Ebay make the above repayment of purchase price impossible) or to the Aluminum Gurley Solar Compass (which is a consignment sale).
